- Open the contact sheet maker and choose JPEG or PNG photos. Adding your files replaces the sample set.
- Choose A4 or Letter and the page orientation.
- Set columns and rows. A 3 × 4 grid fits 12 photographs per page.
- Check the order and keep filename labels enabled.
- Download the PDF. Open it and inspect each page before sending it.
For 29 images at 12 per page, expect three sheet pages. A long filename may add a full filename index at the end. The exact JSON manifest is separate from the print layout.
How do I create one in Photoshop?

What if my photographs are already in Lightroom?
Use Lightroom Classic's print workflow if that fits your existing catalogue. For the browser maker, export JPEG proofs first. Keep the naming convention consistent so a selected proof can be matched to its original. This site does not sync selections into Lightroom.
What should I check before sharing the PDF?
- The file count and order match the intended set.
- The correct paper size is selected.
- Each thumbnail is large enough for the review task.
- Filenames and index numbers remain legible.
- The final page and any filename index are included.
A contact sheet supports selection and discussion. It is not a colour-managed print proof or a full-resolution delivery gallery.
