Why can two different photos have the same name?
Two cameras can both create IMG_0001.JPG. An export can also reuse a name from another folder. A file selected in the browser does not carry its full original folder path into this tool.
ContactSheetFlow assigns a separate asset ID to every accepted image and warns about names that collide after case and Unicode normalisation. The JSON manifest keeps the exact uploaded filename string. A warning is a prompt to check the source, not proof that the images are identical.
What should a handoff record contain?

These are illustrative filenames. Your source check belongs in your own workflow. The tool does not infer camera identity, a folder path or the matching RAW filename.
Can I paste a filename list into Lightroom?
Check the editor's matching rules first. Pixieset documents that a Lightroom filename search can return partial matches. A search for a short name may include longer names that contain it. Read the official Pixieset Lightroom guide, checked 16 October 2026.
ContactSheetFlow does not claim an automatic Lightroom or Capture One integration. Match the actual originals before applying edits or delivering a selection.
Why are there JSON and CSV exports?
The JSON manifest preserves exact filename strings with IDs and order. The CSV is designed for spreadsheets. It adds a protective apostrophe to formula-like names, so its text may differ from the literal original name. Use JSON when exact identity matters.
What happens to long filenames?
The PDF uses up to two label lines beneath a preview. When a name needs more room, a full filename index is appended. Download the JSON manifest as well. It remains the exact string record even when the visible label needs a shorter display.
What should I do before sending a sheet?
Review duplicate warnings, check the first and last frame, and keep the manifest beside the PDF. Agree whether your reviewer will reply with sheet index numbers, filenames or both. Start in the contact sheet maker.
